Development of local and national policy planning functionality to model the impact of policy decisions on investment in network infrastructure. This includes self-service tool "CLEO" to support local authorities in the design and development of local area energy plans (LAEP).

Explore and test the use of dynamic and locational pricing to address secondary peaks, herding behaviour, and constraints, caused by LCT uptake and conflicting market signals.

Develop and evolve short-term forecasting tools/models to predict load, generation, network constraint and load related network intervention requirements across different voltage levels and operational timescales.

An online platform facilitating the procurement and management of flexibility - from registration and qualification through to performance assessment and market settlement.

Develop enhanced dispatch platform capabilities and develop interfaces to multiple systems. This will automate existing processes of scheduling flexibility services and integrating data sources from operational forecasting and Market prices.

Expansion of the existing Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) platform to cater for a wider variety of network constraints, across a wider proportion of the network, with more dynamic and closer to real-time functionality.
