What we will do and why
Develop a robust power quality assessment tool that reduces wait times for assessments to be undertaken and can be integrated with customer facing connection tools such as Smart Connect.

Stakeholder Engagement
We engaged the relevant teams in Connections to automate the assessment of power quality. This included design requirements and validation of calculations. We are now working with them on enhanced functionality and user interface design.

Original Milestone (Completion of first Phase tool development) was split into two parts for more transparent tracking. Phase 1.1 Completion of first Phase tool development got complete in 2023. Phase 1.2 Tool development is on track. Learning from Phase 1 informed a delivery redesign for Phase 2 (both parts 2.1. and 2.2. are on track). Therefore, overall project end date got extended from March 2024 to November 2024 to complete Phase 2. |

Project Evolve
Ensuring our processes and systems deliver cost efficiencies, improved customer services and support our RIIO-ED2 commitments. We are delivering an improved work management solution to support our field staff; ensuring work delivered more efficiently and data is captured more effectively. Alongside this, we are improving and upgrading our customer and supplier relationship management applications to improve interactions with our customers and our suppliers.
