What we will do and why

Linking consent and property records in with the asset register which would then connect them with payment records and land registry details, enabling digital payments.

Stakeholder Engagement

Customers have made requests for us to modernise our payment methods from the traditional cheque methodology to BACS. In response, we have launched this initiative, which will be tested with users following mobilisation of the technology.

New system mobilization milestone got completed on time.

LPN (London Power Networks), SPN (South Power Networks) and EPN (East Power Networks) data migration due date changed to March 2028.

Inital focus on EPN and SPN before moving to LPN milestone.

Wayleave agreements migration changed to being out of scope as no longer required.

22.12.2023 Update

Added two additional milestones and added “Proactive consenting” as a dependency. Changed the dates of three of the milestones: SPN migration brought forward to December 2025 instead of 2026; EPN migration brought forward to 2025 instead of 2028, and LPN migration pushed back to December 2026 from March 2024. More detail about stakeholder engagement was also added.
