Stakeholder Engagement
For one department at a time we are engaging business stakeholders, data users and leaders to determine the correct framework, amending the assignment of roles based on feedback. In discussions with other Distributed Network Operators which have mature governance frameworks in place, we have avoided assigning ownership by system or asset type, focussing instead on categories of data.

Consistent definition and cataloguing of enterprise data assets to facilitate self-serve data discovery, and appropriate and effective use by internal and external consumers.

Unified Network Model (UNM)
Alignment of the planning and operational network models to drive consistency of data across enterprise systems, and enable the exchange of data internally and externally using Common Information Model (CIM).
