What we will do and why

Introduction of a portfolio of digital apprenticeship programmes to both facilitate the development of grassroots digital capabilities and upskilling of existing staff, increasing digital and data competency and literacy across the organisation.

Key Deliverables

  • A range of standard digital apprenticeship programmes from Level 3 to Level 7, available to internal staff, funded through the Apprenticeship Levy.

Target outcomes

  • Individuals across the organisation competent and qualified in a range of contemporary digital capabilities necessary to fulfil current and future business requirements

Measures of success

  • Extent to which digital services and products are designed, delivered and implemented in-house
  • Extent of digital literacy and competence across the organisation

Stakeholder Engagement

We engaged numerous training providers through the tender process to understand their available capabilities to ensure the widest breadth of coverage, arriving at the current seventeen offered. Employees registered their interest in the different skills, behaviours and roles available. We then held sessions on each of the available standards with employees for an overview and to take questions.
