PILLAR: CUSTOMERS
Low Code Applications, Customer facing

What we will do and why
Installer Portals and Back Office systems that allow Installers to apply for multiple low carbon technology installs (including electric vehicle charging points, heat pumps and solar panels and more) for commercial and domestic existing premises as well as other 'General Enquiries' services.
Key deliverables
- Offering a portal for installers and customers to ensure a clear user experience and gather the information needed by UK Power Networks for essential processes including Low Carbon Technology approvals, Payment Processing, and updating the Priority Services Register.
Target outcomes
- Increased accuracy of data from customers, lack of requirement for back and forth communications from Gateway, SDC and Customer Service.
Measures of success
- Customer satisfaction and increased Time to Connect.
Stakeholder Engagement
We have been engaging directly with business teams on their existing processes and exploring methods of automation, along with engagement with internal and external users for testing of the end products. We hold initial design and requirements workshops for each solution, then engage teams throughout, with a final handover session to deliver the product.
